Advisory Board

Mission:
The overall goal of the Advisory Board is to aid, foster, encourage, and promote the growth of the Kois Center.

Objectives:

To be a liaison between the Kois Center and its membership
To provide advice and counsel to the Kois Center
To promote the goals and objectives of the Kois Center to its membership and the dental community
To assist in growth of the Kois Center and provide critical and supportive advice for the growth of the Kois Center
To advise and assist the Kois Center in long-term strategic planning
To assist in membership advancement with continual development and refinement

Guiding Principles:
The Advisory Board will be guided by the following principles:

Integrity, Commitment and Passion
Belief and support for vision of the Kois Center – "it’s about changing lives"
Represent the interests of the greater membership

Editorial Board

Mission:

To provide a support mechanism in a written format to showcase archived cases using the Kois system of diagnosis and treatment planning
To provide opportunities for Mentors and Clinical Instructors to publish
To provide an annual communication that strives to reinforce the culture of mentorship
To share the results of clinical research

Goals:

To guide and encourage potential authors in the publishing process through the use of article templates and clear expectations
Establish a streamlined system for case review by the editorial board
Establish an editorial board peer review system
To develop a 5-10 year strategic plan to reflect the needs of the Kois Center growth and development
